TURIN, Italy, Jan. 25 (Xinhua) -- The United States will face Britain in the final of the men's curling after both won the semi-finals on Thursday at the Winter Universiade.

With a 3-0 open, the United States carried on to beat Canada 7-3, while Britain defeated Sweden for the championship match up.

In the women's competition, Canada scored four points on the last outing to beat Sweden 6-5 in the semi-final.

Canada will take on Russia, who ousted Japan 9-8 in another thrilling game, in Friday's final.
