BEIJING, Jan. 4 -- Versatile Taiwan singer Annie Yi has started singing again six years after she departed the record industry. 　

Her new compilation "Princess A", which includes four new singles and 17 classic hits, was released yesterday in Taipei. 　

The star dropped her job as a TV host and her commercial appearances to immerse herself in the production work for the album.

She also invited several A-list pop musicians, including Jay Chow and JJ Lam, to create new songs for her.

Her husband, the renowned singer and producer Harlem Yu, also worked as chief producer on the album. 　

A press conference will be held to announce the release in Beijing on Jan. 17.
